Hexacopter Under 7Kg

This is a single operator style platform with similar flight time and performance to the DJI Inspire with a few key differences. Unlike a quad the Hex has mechanical redundancy this means in the event of a single motor failure the aircraft can remain flying and return to be landed safely. The other key difference is flexibility, unlike the DJI units this Ardupilot based system can carry a wide variety of gimbals and sensors (including a fixed downward facing camera for survey work). This allows you to tailor your platforms capabilities to suit your application not making the application suit your equipment. By default, our system runs a compact Sony camera, taking 20 Mega Pixel images in both JPEG and RAW format and shooting video in 1080p HD at 50 fps. The unit also has full use of the cameras optical zoom allowing you to pull in on what you are filming/photographing without getting to close. The camera can also be configured to trigger at certain time intervals, or triggered autonomously from the flight controller to create 2D orthomosaics and 3D models.
